We invite you to become a member of the your County Medical Society. Our mission is to promote medical education, communication, and uphold ethical standards within the medical community.
While we encourage membership in both the Washington State Medical Association and SCMS, we also provide the option to join or renew your SCMS membership independently.
To join SCMS online, please follow these steps:
- Visit the WSMA website and select one of the options to log in.
- Under the Membership dropdown menu, select Pay Your Dues.
- Click on the Pay County Dues Only option and follow the instructions to complete your enrollment.

Physician membership is $150.00 a year
PA membership is $75.00 a year

Become A Member
Physicians who practice medicine within Snohomish County and hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy and hold an un-revoked and unsuspended license to practice medicine and surgery issued by the Medical Board of Washington or Board of Osteopathic Examiners of the State of Washington are eligible to apply for membership in the Snohomish County Medical Society. Because the SCMS provides physician referrals, a membership application is required and is subject to approval by the SCMS Board of Trustees.
Physician Assistant members of Snohomish County must be a graduate of a PA training program, licensed in Washington and hold an un-revoked and unsuspended license to practice medicine and surgery issued by the Medical Board of Washington or Board of Osteopathic Examiners of the State of Washington are eligible to apply for membership in the Snohomish County Medical Society. Because the SCMS provides clinician referrals, a membership application is required and is subject to approval by the SCMS Board of Trustees.
The SCMS offers a variety of benefits and services to it members. From looking out for providers at the state legislature and the US Congress, to educating the news media and general public on health care, the SCMS is regularly assisting and working for physician and physician assistants.
To become a member in SCMS, it is $150.00 per year for MD/DOs (click here for an application) and $75.00 a year for Physician Assistants, please fill out this PA membership application and return it to the Snohomish County Medical Society, 1215 Fourth Avenue, Suite 1900, Seattle, WA 98161.
